James P. “J.P.” Stewart

CPA
A native of Fayetteville, Georgia, Stewart graduated from Woodward Academy there, then went on to the University of Georgia, where he played baseball and was a member of the 1990 National Championship team. He earned his BBA in Accounting in 1993, received his Masters in Taxation from UGA in 1994, and earned his CPA certificate in 1996. Stewart is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the AICPA. His areas of expertise include individual and small business taxation.

J.P. resides in Alpharetta with his family.  They are active members of North Point Community Church in Alpharetta. In addition to spending time with his family, J.P. enjoys golfing and supporting UGA athletics.

Doug Brockelbank

CPA

Brockelbank graduated from the University of Georgia in 1985 with a degree in Secondary Math Education. Originally from Dunwoody, he taught three years of high school math at Crestwood before transitioning into the corporate world. He has worked exclusively as a CPA since 1999.  Doug is an active member of the Georgia Society of CPAs.

Brockelbank’s area of expertise is in Tax Preparation and Planning. He provides a variety of accounting and tax services for individuals, non-profit groups and small businesses.

Doug and his wife, Cathy, live in Alpharetta. He has two grown children.

Angie Saavedra

Saavedra joined SKB in 2010, after a decade in Global Security for a Fortune 500 company. She has a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor’s degree from Truman University. She grew up in southern Illinois and has lived in Arizona and England. She has lived in Alpharetta since 1998 with her husband of thirty years. They have two adult sons.

Angie is a big sports fan; her favorites are the St. Louis Cardinals and all sports at the University of Arizona. She enjoys traveling, gardening, reading, hiking and visiting wineries.  Angie also enjoys spending time with her husband, Manny.
